November Wine Seance – Summoning Spain, Nov 21st

Farish House Wine Seance

Thursday, November 21st, from 5:00 to 6:30
(Arrive by 5:30 to partake.)

We’ll be tasting through Spain’s key varietals and regions, starting of course with Cava, paired with a trio of Spanish Tapas.

Spain is the third largest producer of wine, and home to some of the oldest ungrafted  vineyards, home to many 75-80 year old family vineyards as well. There is an intriguing level of comfort in Spain with the fusion of what would seem to be contrasting influences:  in wine, traditional and modern methodology, old school bush trained and organic and biodynamic farming, Spanish Baroque, Modernisme, Catholic and Muslim influences in art and architecture, traditional foods and the finest molecular gastronomy. We’ll show you a little bit of Spain’s diversity.

Our host, Ryan Brown is an expert somm who represents these wines from Spain imported by STEM.

$25.00
