Season Events and
Large Dinner Parties
The Farish House’s total indoor dining seating is 44 across three dining rooms (maximum seating 10, 10 and 16 @ large tables). We have a small bar area in the center of the house, an outdoor patio that seats up to 40 and an entry parlour area for gathering as well. We do not offer conference style services. We have some limitations due to the structure of the house, but it is also what makes this restaurant quaint, intimate and unique.
Large Parties
In order to offer the best service this 2024-2025 season, We are only booking dinner parties up to 16 indoors, depending on availability, and our maximum seating outdoors are for parties of 8.
These can all be booked on line via our website and our reservation service, Tock. Parties of 5 or more require a $10 per person deposit, which can be applied to your bill (made with on-line reservation). Parties of 5 or more that require a deposit are subject to a 20% automatic gratuity. Deposits are refundable if the reservation is cancelled 24 hours or more in advance. Buy-Out Events
The Farish House is now limiting large events (Weddings, Anniversaries, etc.) to Entire Property Buy-outs. A Buy-Out event is subject to a larger deposit. 20% gratuity and sales tax. You will only be charged your full deposit for cancellation two weeks or less prior to a buy-out event. This time frame is due to the fact that we would be passing on reservations in order to accommodate your party. Your deposit will be applied to (subtracted from) your final bill.
Buy-Outs are for parties of 25-60, for which we close the property to other guests. A weeknight buyout to host a private event requires a $4,000.00 minimum, weekends $8,000.00. This can be met via purchase of food and drink, really just $100-$200 per person for a 40 guest event, and a special menu could be created for your party. An event fee would cover the difference should you not meet the minimum.
We have hosted several weddings and large events, and when we host them, we focus only on that party. We commit to offering you the best Farish House has to offer, and a beautiful setting for your special event.
